We are committed to helping prepare you and your family for the “ifs” in life.  MetLife Auto & Home has launched a new suite of identity theft protection services, available at no cost to our customers.1

Identity Theft Protection Services: These services help protect you from identity theft.

  • Military: When stationed abroad, with the assistance of a fraud specialist, a 12-month military fraud alert is placed on your credit file at no additional charge. Assistance is also available to your spouse/civil union partner and eligible family members.
  • Estate:  A fraud specialist is assigned to protect your deceased loved one’s identity from potential misuse, also minimizing your risks in the case of jointly held accounts.
  • Travel: Specialists are available 24/7 to assist worldwide in replacing passports, credit cards, and other crucial documents lost or stolen while traveling.
  • Child: A fraud specialist will initiate a credit file suppression to help prevent against the potential misuse of you child’s personal information.
  • Relocation: A fraud specialist is assigned to safeguard financial, credit, and identification data during a move.
  • Medical: We’ll help prevent further damage when your identity is fraudulently used to obtain medical services and treatment.
  • Disaster: A fraud specialist will help you replace important identification documents lost in a hurricane, earthquake, tornado, flood, or house fire and ensure uninterrupted access to financial institutions. A separate flood insurance policy for your dwelling and its contents is available for purchase. MetLife Auto & Home participates in the National Flood Insurance Program, which is managed by the federal government.

Identity Theft Resolution Service: These services are available, if you fall victim to identity theft.

  • Direct assistance with filing police reports
  • Assistance in placing fraud alerts with credit bureaus
  • One year of comprehensive credit and fraud monitoring of over 1,000 databases
  • Complimentary credit report from all three credit bureaus
